Worked on a self portrait this weekend. I set the studio up in the minimal space I have. Using a small white paper backdrop, two alien bee 800's for the back drop, and one alien bee 800 and a beauty dish for the main light. Turns out it's all I needed for a simple headshot. Decided to go with the Peter Hurley style of High Key background, simple and upclose approach. Took a few tries to get the signature "squinching" look down since I had to keep getting up and hitting the shutter button. Maybe next time I'll break out the remote shutter release. Overall it turned out like I envisioned it to be and I actually like it. Apparently so do allot of others. I've posted it to facebook and recieved almost 100 likes.
